“When you go into airplane mode, you unplug yourself from the larger network. When you switch out, however, the first thing that happens is the mobile network begins to search to connect to the larger network. A metaphor for our birth into this world; we came out of airplane mode, and we're searching. The only one not searching is the pilot stuck in airplane mode. We’re all on this journey trying to find purpose and fulfillment. Only fitting that I started my first ever studio piece with such a line."

“As a believer, it was important for me to recognize that although I worked tirelessly to become amazing at what I do, the innate gift came from the supreme being and creator. So my prayer was simple. The same way the scriptures read daily unveil new things to readers, reinforcing the concept of the holy scriptures being alive, was the same impact I wanted my words to have on my listeners. I am not looking to prove to be the best, although I will do my best. I hope my words reach the people, enlightening them when they pay attention to my pieces. So that in the end, when I am long gone, even if the impact is absent in the next 50 years, so long as history does not forget my words, they will reach someone and inspire them.”
